Definately seen some use but here is a cheap 223 / 22-250 Sound mod with 1/2 – 20 Thread adaper installed.

Firing a shot is a noisy business. Reducing the sound levels even by a few decibels (dB) makes a noticeable difference. A sound pressure level of between 130-140 dB is described as the ‘pain threshold’. HAUSKEN PREMIUM SILENCERS lower the sound pressure level to below 130 dB.
